The project objective was a modernization of JETZONE type machine. The electrical installation needed to be changed – assembly of the new one and disassembly of the existing one, including 6000 meters of cables and 500 meters of trays, took 10 days. Also, the power-control cabinets were changed , 8 panels total. Modification consisted in a migration from Siemens S5 platform to Allen – Bradley Comact Logix. Additionally, due to the replacing the direct commissioning of drives with variable frequency drives, the use of energy from the working machine was optimized.
